In-N-Out

I wish I were referring to the restaurant because a double double cheeseburger sure does sound good. I usually get the cheeseburger protein style and splurge on the fries, oh my!

Hello again to you all and wanted to post a quick note since it's been a whole week since the surgery and David has done a fabulous job as co-editor. I will keep this brief and catch you all up on the many stories I want to share but wanted to say thank you for the tremendous love and kindness we have received from each in everyone of you. Our family is truly blessed and couldn't have gotten through any of this without all of you.

Since my title doesn't refer to the restaurant, I wanted to let you know that I was released from the hospital Sunday evening but after two days of being home and experiencing bursts of pain, I was instructed to go into the ER and be admitted back to the hospital this evening. Nothing major though and we will have more information tomorrow about how long I will stay this time and what the action plan is for fixing some of the pain I currently have. After 8 hours in the ER (being in the NY ER is a whole wacky world of it's own) and after reviewing preliminary CT scans they found that there is some additional leakage in my liver and some fluid build up in my lungs. No worries though, the doctors are meeting first thing in the morning and God told me that he will be leading the meeting on the best action plan to fix the leakage :) I'll post more tomorrow and please keep those prayers coming our way. Dad is also doing well and we've had a few bumps in the road but those are also being handled by God.

We are so lucky to have had Sheila and Dayle and Tio Alex out here last week and our family dream team continues to be here with us this week ( Tia Gloria, Tio Chico, Tia Lorena, both Grandma's) and just love them to pieces!!!!! It's been amazing having them here and we will celebrate David's 29th birthday tomorrow ( I love you my precious husband)!!!!

  1. Hi Tati! So glad that your spirits are high and that you are completely trusting God. Its so much easier when we let him handle it all. Just want you guys to know that I have never had trouble sleeping but the last week God has been waking me up at all hours of the night with you and your Dad in mind.....you are definitely in our constant thoughts and prayers. Every time I get an update from Tia Ana...I immediately let my sister know who then sends it to our home church....the staff has been praying for you guys constantly...I know you are receiving prayers from all over the place....don't think for a second that we are all going on and forgot about you all there....we wish we could all be there...but please believe our constant thoughts are there and we are continuously praying. Love you and can't wait until you post your pic on here with your double double in hand!

  2. My Precious Tati..... it's so good to hear from you and to reveal to us that indeed God is in total control of you and your daddy. As Juani said it, you are both lifted in prayers daily, everywhere. Good, bad, funny....anything....the chain of prayer in "ON" 24/7. We are so blessed for the outcome of it all and so thankful for what continues to pour in our lives. LOVE YOU MY WARRIOR!!!
